Product Overview
Fluororubber gaskets are made of FKM fluororubber (fluorocarbon rubber), produced by molding compounded fluororubber compounds or by cutting sheet stock. They are high‑performance elastic sealing gaskets, typically black in color, and rely on the elasticity of the rubber to provide static seals at flanges, valves, and equipment interfaces. With excellent resistance to high temperatures, oils, and chemical corrosion, they are widely used in demanding service conditions involving high‑temperature oils, acids and alkalis, organic solvents, and more, serving as an upgraded replacement for conventional rubber gaskets.
Application areas
Chemical and Petrochemical Industries: pumps, valves, reaction vessels, pipe flanges; sealing for thermal oil, fuels, and acidic media.
Petroleum and natural gas: oilfield equipment, oil and gas pipelines, high-temperature sealing for hydrocarbon‑resistant media.
Automotive Mechanics: High-Temperature Seals for Engines, Fuel Systems, and Hydraulic Equipment
Electrical Metallurgy: Flange Seals for High-Temperature Oils and Heat-Transfer Oil Equipment
Food and Pharmaceutical Industries: Food-grade fluorocarbon gaskets are used in high-temperature process pipelines.
General Equipment: High-Temperature Service Equipment Housings and Pipe Joint Static Seals
Product Advantages
Excellent high-temperature resistance, far superior to nitrile rubber (NBR), suitable for continuous service at 200°C.
Highly resistant to oil and corrosion, with a long service life under conditions involving oils, certain acids and alkalis, and organic solvents.
Excellent elasticity and rebound, capable of compensating for slight flange unevenness, with stable sealing performance.
Anti‑aging and ozone‑resistant; remains flexible even in outdoor and high‑temperature environments, ensuring a long service life.
Fully equipped, source factory
FAQ
Can I take a sample for testing?
Yes, samples can be sent for testing before placing a bulk order.
