Frequently Asked Questions
If you can’t find the answer in our FAQ, feel free to leave us a message, and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
Can I take a sample for testing?
Yes, samples can be sent for testing before placing a bulk order.
Do you have a pre-shipment inspection procedure?
Yes, we always test the product before delivery.
Can I have my own custom-made product?
Yes. We can provide OEM and ODM services, including design, logos, packaging, and more.
What’s the difference between CBN grinding wheels and diamond grinding wheels?
CBN (cubic boron nitride) is suitable for grinding high-hardness alloy steels;
Diamond grinding wheels are ideal for grinding hard alloys, ceramics, and other brittle materials.
How should a grinding wheel be properly dressed?
Use a diamond pen or dressing tool to move slowly along the wheel’s radius, applying even pressure. Resin-bonded grinding wheels require frequent dressing, while ceramic-bonded grinding wheels can be dressed at longer intervals.
What items need to be checked before installing the grinding wheel?
Check the grinding wheel for cracks (you can perform a “sound test” by lightly tapping it to see whether the sound is crisp and clear).
Confirm that the flange diameter is ≥ 1/3 of the grinding wheel diameter.
Balance test (high-speed grinding wheels require dynamic balancing).
What are the main components of a grinding wheel?
A grinding wheel consists of three main components: abrasive grains (such as aluminum oxide, silicon carbide, cubic boron nitride CBN, etc.), a bonding agent (which can be ceramic, resin, rubber, or metal), and pores.
